Secrets of the Human Brain

The workings of the brain. Brain stem is the most primitive, followed by the cerebellum, hippocampus, amygdala, with the brain cortex as the most developed in humans. Frontal cortex, temporal cortex, occipital cortex, From studying fear in SEAL(Combat Soldiers), to pleasure(dopamine release during orgasm, excitement, anticipation), to conscience(which is the ability of the panic or fear button in amygdala to communicate with the frontal lobe of the neocortex), memory(neminism, 30second memory), medium(pyschic power) to harnessing the electrical signals for new technology.

Webcam turned Microscope Zebrafish imaging

These are the steps I have taken to turn the webcam into a microscope.
In summary, the lens holder is removed and the lens are inverted to turn the webcam into a microscope!
These are step-by-step instructions on how to turn your webcam into a microscope!

Webcam taken from Silicon Straits from William Hooi.

Remove the clip by sliding the spring to the side and pull it out from the other side.

Clipper detached from the webcam
Unscrew the covers

Everything falls apart

Remove the silver cover and you can see the lens attached to the microcontroller.
Remove the lens from the lens holder

Unscrew the lens holder from the microcontroller board.

Invert the lens and put it back.  The lens holder has to be removed as it cannot accommodate the inverted lens.

Put back the covers and screw them back. Tadah. Webcam is turned into microscope.

The time has come to test your microscope!
Install the driver for the webcam and connect via usb to your computer.
With some newly hatched zebrafish, I looked at them under the microscope. As I did not have a stand for the microscope or the sample, the images are pretty blur.
